Ever since Susan took her first pottery class her freshman year of high school she found a way to have clay in her life. This is why she was very happy to find Clayworks in 2008 after moving to Charlotte, NC. Graduating with a BA in Psychology and a minor in art form Eastern Mennonite University. She is inspired by the colors and textures found in nature. Susan joined Clayworks as the Community Impact Coordinator in the spring 2016 and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2022.
