Molly Bloomer
Molly graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a BA in Psychology and Studio Art, with a concentration in Ceramics. Her interest in ceramics started at a young age while taking children's classes at Clayworks. At Queens, she participated in the construction of Queens Woodfire Kiln which led to her love of wood fired ceramics. She is not only fascinated by the process but also the unpredictability of the flame on surfaces. She enjoys working with translucent porcelains and takes inspiration from Eastern Asian forms. Molly spends her time not only creating but also teaching various outreach programs, private lessons, and the children’s and youth ceramic classes at Clayworks.
