Ann is a northern Ohio native who migrated to Charlotte in 2002. Now a studio artist at Clayworks, she works exclusively in hand-built organic forms and unique textures suggested by what she observes in nature. Ann uses a variety of stains and glazes to enhance the natural beauty of the clay and plays with vibrant colors to add an element of surprise to her unique pieces.
