In the early 1990’s, I began my first class at Clayworks and have been involved with clay ever since that first hands on encounter. I worked in health care for many years and found that making pots provided opportunities to develop different skills, create things with my hands that I can see and touch. I have recently begun exploring new forms, using thick slip for texture and oxides rather than glaze on thrown and altered vases and mold formed bowls.
