‘Turners & Burners: The Folk Potters of North Carolina’
Clayworks and the Mecklenburg County Library system are proud to co-host a very special literary and artistic event: Saturday April 28, 12 to 4pm
Dr Charles ‘Terry’ Zug III, esteemed UNCC professor and author, will discuss the folk potters of this region, based on his book ‘Turners & Burners: The Folk Potters of North Carolina’.
Come enjoy an afternoon of artistic and cultural insights – the lecture and discussion will begin at 1pm. Reception to follow.
Clayworks hosts a clay day for adults to come and discover the Muddy Fun of working with clay on a Saturday:
Pre-registration is required and there is a $10 fee to cover materials.
