Summer Camps

Clayworks Summer Camps

Characters In Clay

These summer camps are designed for students

ages 6 – 10 years old. Camps run for one week each and meet from 9:00am – 12:00pm each day.

The tuition is $190 for the week.

This summer children will create fun colorful pottery based on the books of Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Shel Silverstein,  and Maurice Sendak, as our inspiration.  Using three basic hand building methods: coiling, pinching and slabs. Students will make projects such as, Horton from “Horton hears a Who!” and a mask inspired from “Where the Wild Things Are” . Each camper will also get to experience making a pot on the potter’s wheel.  Campers will glaze all of their own work and have it to take home with them on the last day of camp.
