Summer Camps

Clayworks Summer Camps

Characters In Clay

These summer camps are designed for students

ages 6 – 10 years old. Camps run for one week each and meet from 9:00am – 12:00pm each day.

The tuition is $190 for the week.

This summer children ages 6-10 will create fun, colorful pottery inspired by the books of Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Shel Silverstein, and Maurice Sendak. Using three basic handbuilding techniques: including coiling, pinching and slabs. Students will make projects such as, Horton, from “Horton hears a Who!” and a mask inspired by “Where the Wild Things Are” . Each camper will also get to experience making a pot on the potter’s wheel.  Campers will glaze all of their own work and have it to take home with them on the last day of camp.
