About Clayworks Classes

Clayworks offers a variety of classes for students of all skill levels.
Classes are taught by highly educated and skilled artists in a hands-on environment.

Tuition includes

Open Studio time with 24/7 access to the studio
1 – 25lb bag of clay provided
Access to a variety of glazes and slips
Kiln firing of all work completed during the class session
State of the art facility with onsite parking.

April  3 – June 26, 2017

 

Beginning Wheel

Designed for students who have never used the potter’s wheel and students who are still developing throwing skills. Participants will learn how to center the clay on the wheel and make basic forms such as mugs, bowls, and vases. Students will learn how to finish their work with decorating and glazing techniques.
