Clayworks is developing a facility at 4506 Monroe Road by coverting a 5000 sf office space and a 10,000 warehouse into a ceramics studio and gallery. The new facility will have three air-conditioned classrooms, space for more than 150 students, studios for 35 local artists, nine electric kilns, a gas kiln,a raku kiln as well as improved glazing areas and office facilities.  The total investment in the new facility will be over $1,000,000, including the purchase price and the cost of converting the space into a ceramics studio.
